On to January...

Our New Years Eve and New Years Day are always great. New Years Day is Grace's birthday. She loves staying up til her actual birthday and drinking apple cider (which she thinks is for her birthday and it is for us). She also loves seeing fireworks on her birthday. She turned eight this year. She cannot wait for her baptism in a couple of weeks. We will let you know how that day is.

We had a birthday party with 14 little girls. It was a makeup party. They were able to play a blindfold game putting makeup on each other then they took it off and we let them have real makeovers. Grace thought it was great.

The winter we have had more snow than usual. This has been great for the kids. They have made 3 snowman so far. It is also great because Brady is home more and i can send him out for something to do.

Abby has had a great few months also. She entered a competition at school. She had a topic and decided to make a video for it. She had to think of the idea and the text. She also had to do all the filming and editing herself. At the school level she got second place and a trophy and then they sent it on to the next level. We went to a big award program the other night were she got an award of merit there. We are so proud of her.

Happy Birthday Grace! We are jealous of your snowmen. We get about enough here to melt and make everything wet and gross!

I so see Garner in your kids but truthfully I don't know if I would have recognized them if I saw them on the street. We did enjoy the days of little Abby and Grace - you have a great family!
